ES190 – Frequently Asked Questions

You should clean your filter every 3- 6 months. This can be done by removing the top lid and removing the rectangle filter and washing underwater. Dry the filter and refit into position.

The Ecospring hot water systems should be checked annually. Checking water temperatures, clock settings, air filter and sacrificial anode.

Press any button on the display once. Press and hold the CANCEL button for a period of 3-4 seconds. The padlock in the top right side will disappear.
After unlocking the display press the MODE button to change form Economy to Hybrid or E- Heater and press the ON/OFF button to set.
A sacrificial anode will last approx. 2 – 3 years but the annual inspection will be able to determine the life expectancy of the anode.

No, we do not recommend any solar panels be connected as this may cause warranty and guarantee issues with the system.

Unlock the screen and use the Up & Down buttons to adjust the water temperature inside the cylinder. We recommend the system be set to 65C degrees in conjunction with a tempering valve installed
Press any button the screen. Press and hold the cancel button to unlock the display panel.
The ES300 has a MODE button on the front display panel.
The ES300+ has a large ENTER button in the centre of the front display panel.
The HP300 has a MODE button and a large ENTER button on the front display.

The air filter will need checked and cleaned every 3-6 months. This is located at the top of the unit on the left inlet side.

We recommend an annual service to check the filter, display settings and anode condition and for any leaks on associated pipework or valving.

Simply unlock the display screen by pressing and holding the CANCEL button for 3 seconds and use the arrow buttons to adjust the temperature of the system. It is recommended to be set to 60C degrees in conjunction with a tempering valve installed.

Yes, you can install the ES300 internally. If in an enclosed place ducting will have to be connected to the air inlet and outlet of the system to allow the system to breathe correctly. If installed in a garage space, we highly suggest ducting the air outlet to the exterior to help keep the garage space as warm as possible.

Yes, the ES300 can be installed externally but will need to have the Rain Cover purchased and installed to protect the system. ​

No, we do not recommend any solar panels be connected as this may cause warranty and guarantee issues with the system.

No, the temperatures in a roof cavity can often exceed 40 degrees so taking air from the roof cavity Is not recommended. The unit will automatically shut down as a self-protection measure until temperatures drop to normal operating levels

ES300+ – Frequently Asked Questions

The air filter will need checked and cleaned every 3-6 months. This is located at the top of the unit on the left inlet side.

We recommend an annual service to check the filter, display settings and anode condition and for any leaks on associated pipework or valving.

The anode will need to be replaced every 2-3 years. This will be assessed on the annual servicing. There are 3 x anodes in this system that will need replaced at the same time.
Press any button on the display once. Press and hold the CANCEL button for a period of 3 – 4 seconds. The padlock in the top right side will disappear.
Press and hold the clock button for 3 seconds. Once flashing this can be adjusted with the arrow buttons and when ready press the ENTER button to set.
After unlocking the display press the Mode button to change form Economy to Hybrid or E- Heater.
